The Boston Public Library Foundation
The Boston Public Library Foundation is guided by a Board of prominent civic leaders, and supported by an enthusiastic volunteer corps of Young Professionals. The Foundation was created in 1992 to restore and revitalize the Boston Public Library and to enhance the visibility of the Library and all it offers to the citizens of Boston, New England and beyond. Over the past decade the Foundation has raised more than $58 million for use in restoring the National Historic Landmark McKim Building at Copley Square.
